Changing an order

We are working hard to make it possible to change the address, composition, delivery and unloading method etc. of an already placed order. Today you can change the delivery date, delivery time and volume of an already placed order via the order itself. We'll teach you here how to currently best handle other changes to the order .

In the short demo video, we explain how you can change information other than the delivery date, time or volume of an already placed order. We have also written out the steps for you below.

1

To change an order, go to the particular order.

You can do this through your Projects , or through Orders.
2

Once you click on the order you want to change, you will see a blue box on the right where you can make the changes.

In this box, you can click on Quick edit If you want to change the delivery time or volume of the order. If you want to make other changes, click on Cancel.
3

If you have chosen to cancel the order, you can add a message for the supplier.

In your message, for example, you can mention that it is a change and that you will submit a new order. The supplier will receive a notification via email and through the platform.
4

Then you can go to your project to find the original order in a quick way.

You can do this through your  project products, or at the bottom right via Recent orders.
5

When you click "Order" for either of these two options, you'll see that a lot of the information is already filled in.

- If you want to re-order via  Recent orders , you will see that all the information of the original order has already been copied.
- If you want to re-order via your project  Products , you will still have to enter the date, quantity and cadence.
6

Then make the desired changes.

For example, you can change the consistency class or the unloading method.
7

You can also add a comment to the order before pressing "Place Order."

We strongly recommend this, especially if the change takes place little in advance. This way, the chances of a misunderstanding can be reduced.
TIP: Be sure to include a clear message in the remarks , both on the cancelled and newly placed order.

We also strongly recommend contacting the supplier by phone if you want to change an order.

You will always find the contact details and phone number of the supplier in the right sidebar of your order. You can then modify the order in the Betotrace platform so that the data in the platform is correct and can be retrieved by all parties.
