Accepting a quick edit made by the supplier

Did the supplier suffer a delay and then sent you a proposal to reschedule the delivery time? Learn how to accept this via Betotrace here.

In the short demo video, we take you through the few steps to accept a quick edit made by the supplier or propose a new delivery time yourself. We've also written out the steps for you below.

1

To see which quick edit was performed on an order, go to the order itself.

You can do this through the email notification, via Projects, or via Orders Via Orders, you can find the orders that require action in the tab Needs my attention. You can also identify the order by its status. This indicates that you need to take action for this particular order.
2

Once you have selected the order, you will see an orange box on the right where you can perform the required action.

3

In the orange box, you can click "Accept" to approve the supplier's proposal.

The supplier gets a notification via email and through the platform.
4

If you do not agree with the quick edit proposed by the supplier, it is best to contact the supplier to find a solution that suits both parties.

That way, you can afterwards pass on the mutually agreed delivery time in the rescheduling module (the orange box).
CAUTION: We strongly recommend to also take a moment to contact the supplier by phone when you do not agree with the quick edit made by the supplier, especially when it is little in advance.

You will always find the contact details and phone number of the supplier in the right sidebar of your order. You can then modify the order in the Betotrace platform, so that the data in the platform are correct and can be retrieved by all parties.
