Editing the delivery time or volume of an order

Suffered a delay that requires you to change the delivery time of an order already placed or planned? Did the customer need a higher or lower volume than originally ordered and asked you to register that adjustment in Betotrace? Check here how to do this through Betotrace.

In the short demo video, we take you through the steps to change the delivery time or the volume of an order. We've also written out the steps for you below.

To change the date, time or volume of an order, go to the order for which you want to make this change.

You can do this through your Orders Once you click on the order you want to modify, you will see a blue box on the right where you can perform this action via the button Quick edit .

In the blue box, enter the desired change in volume or delivery time and add a message for the customer.

The customer gets a notification via email and through the platform. The blue box on the right will turn orange after your quick edit.

When the customer approves the change, you will receive a confirmation via email.

Afterwards, you can find the modified order in Betotrace. You will see that the orange box turned blue again.
TIP: We strongly recommend also taking a moment to contact the supplier  contact the customer by phone, when you want to change the delivery time of an order, especially when it is little in advance.

You will always find the customer's contact information and phone number in the right sidebar of your order. You can then modify the order in the Betotrace platform so that the data in the platform is correct and can be found by all parties.
